3 Things: Favorite Real Estate Adjacent Podcasts

1. Rate Guy

JP Conklin along with his wife Sarah host this very informational and funny podcast discussing the things that are driving interest rate changes including a solid breakdown on any of “J-Money” Powells signaling.   JP is not afraid to make predictions.  JP is with Pennsford Financial group and advises his commercial real estate clients on interest rates swaps and caps among other things.   He provides a lot of perspective on where things are going in the interest rate world based.

2. Anderson Business Advisors Podcast

I especially like to tune in for Tax Tuesdays where host Toby Mathis will take questions from listeners most of which are very helpful to the real estate investor.  They focus on Asset protection but will answer questions like “how to qualify as a real estate professional” or “What’s possible to exchange into with a 1031.  Toby is a Tax Lawyer and there are many guest appearances from CPAs that work for Anderson Business Advisors.

3. The Peter Schiff Show

Peter is a stock broker and financial advisor who calls Puerto Rico home, no doubt due to the low taxes.  He has been called Dr. Doom for his correct prediction of the 2008 financial crisis.  Peter offers his take on stocks, interest rate yields, oil prices, gold, the dollar index and everything having to do with how politics effects economics and vice versa.  He’s polarizing with his points of view but offers a great alternative perspective.
