Justin graduated from Miami University with a degree in Finance. After college Justin spent 10 years working for a Fortune 500 service company where he became a General Manager with complete responsibility for growth and profit in Maple Grove, Minnesota. Since then Justin has been a top rep selling Medical Devices and has started two successful sports marketing companies.

Justin began investing in multifamily in 2016. In his first two deals Justin was able to increase the value of his assets by 40% providing a great transition into real estate. Today Justin owns over 400 apartment units and focuses on real estate syndication finding high yield passive deals for people looking to diversify from typical Wall Street Investments.

Eat Street Portfolio Minneapolis, MN – May 2022

Elliott Multifamily along with Northstar Equity Partners have closed on 67 units in the Whittier neighborhood of Minneapolis sourced off market. We will be implementing our trusted 3rd party management company in order to improve operations on this portfolio. We love the size of these units with 1 bedrooms including a den that will play to the recent trend of people working from home and looking for more space.

3816 Nicollet Ave. South, Minneapolis, MN - January 2022

We closed recently on 18 units in the Kingfield neighborhood of Minneapolis. This is one of the more popular blocks of Minneapolis with a James Beard award nominated restaurant directly next door (Petite Leon). We will be putting around $250k in to the interior and exterior upgrades in order to bring this building up to the neighborhood standards.

Minnehaha Portfolio, Minneapolis, MN - November 2021

We recently acquired a 45 unit portfolio in Longfellow neighborhood of Minneapolis. This area is seeing a big amount of redevelopment following the civil unrest in Minneapolis. We were able to acquire this property at a low basis of $108k per door with a 2.7% fixed interest rate.

Magnolia Park Apartments - December 2020

In December of 2020 we closed on 167 units in Augusta, GA completing a nearly $4 million dollar capital raise. This was a partnership with Four Oaks Capital and the property will be managed by Southern Development Management Company. This is our second acquisition in Augusta, GA, a market we are extremely excited about.

 

Grand and Goodrich Portfolio - October 2020

We recently acquired a 30 unit portfolio in an affluent area of St. Paul. This is a mostly stabilized property that cashflows from day one but there is opportunity to increase rents over time with minimal cap ex requirements.

Midtown Point Apartments - August 2020

We recently acquired 29 units in the growing secondary market of Augusta, GA. We are extremely excited about this value add project. We are projecting 11% cash on cash returns, 14% IRR and a 1.89x equity multiplier on a 5 year hold.
